In my latest offering from HDpiano, I show you how to play the chords to the Verse (the "A" section of the AABA form) of the Hoagy Carmichael classic "Georgia on My Mind." For this tutorial, I decided to teach the chords as played in the well-known Ray Charles version of the tune.

I've been working this out on guitar, in another key, for a long while and wondered how and why one chord related to the next. Thank you for this clear, well-worded explanation.

Been trying my hand at teaching myself piano while also learning a lot more theory relating to blues and jazz and your written explanations and videos have been extremely helpful.
